Our Rumbak community has undergone a significant transformation. Once rooted in traditional animal husbandry and agriculture, Rumbak is now dependent on tourism and has become a leading steward of sustainable rural tourism combined with a commitment to snow leopard conservation. We believe that “community benefit unites,” and have founded the Rumbak Homestay Cooperative. We are unified under the new ChigDil brand. Chigdil translates to ‘unity’ and portrays our approach to village life and the hospitality we offer.

Our nine homestays offer intimate access to the warm hospitality of our local community. The abundant wildlife has long captivated filmmakers and photographers and it remains a cherished destination for trekkers from across the globe.
